The application process for the next school year begins in the fall of the current school year. To ensure that your child has a seat in Good Shepherd Lutheran School for the following school year, we ask that you apply by January 31st for next school year placement. Consideration of each application accompanied with the $150 non-refundable application fee is made in the order received. For current school families, re-registration for the following school year is not automatic.
If you are interested in considering Good Shepherd Lutheran School as an option for your child, please schedule a tour to see the school during a daily session. We have school tours each Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, so please call 516-349-1966 to make an appointment. You will be given a school application and information about your program of interest at that time. If you wish to move forward with the application process after the tour, please fill out the application and submit it along with the $150 non-refundable application fee and a copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport. You may also download the application from the website and submit it to the school office by mail or by walking it in during school hours from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. If space is available, your child will be enrolled into the program for next year. If there are no places available, your child’s name will be placed on a waiting list and you will be called if space becomes available before the following school year.
We know you have many choices when choosing an early learning center for your child, and we believe that our beautiful facility, warm nurturing atmosphere, and experienced staff make Good Shepherd School the best place for your child to begin his/her first school experience away from home.

Tuition and Fees
Good Shepherd Lutheran School’s daily operation is supported primarily by tuition and fees. A tuition schedule listing rates and payment plans is available to be downloaded or may be picked up in the school office.

School Registration Supplemental Information
The following forms contain important information necessary for the school administration. All school supplemental materials are due by August 5th, and are required to be on file before your child may attend class on the first day of school. A copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport is also needed, if it was not previously turned into the office.
