Toddler Programs in Plainview, NY
This program for children who are ready for a “no parent” class. The age requirement for this program is eighteen months through thirty-six months. Our ratio is 1:5 with a teacher and two assistants, and the maximum capacity of the class is twelve children. We are sensitive to your home routine and to your child’s toileting needs.
Young children are charming, eager and creative, making them a joy to teach. Most learning will take place through exploration and experimentation. A multi-sensory approach to learning is provided through art, music, play and physical activity.
Toddler Program Curriculum

- Compare tactile materials (smooth and rough; soft and hard, wet and dry, sticky and squishy)
- Do various activities reinforcing texture concepts
- Compare and contrast – loud and soft, long and short, whisper and shout, high and low
- Recognize common sounds (car horn, train whistle, jingle bells, etc.)
- Be introduced to all colors
- Learn basic shapes using concrete examples (square, circle, triangle, rectangle)
- Distinguish various seasons and holidays using many related stories and projects
- Develop socially, emotionally, physically, and educationally, by playing and working together
Themes
- Community Helpers: children role play various helper roles including: fireman, librarian, dentist, letter carrier, doctor, nurse, policeman
- Farm Animals:children learn all about various animals

- Jesus loves us and takes care of us; God made us and the world

The above options offer extended care from 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM and from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
We also offer a year-round toddler program which is closed for major holidays. This program is open from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM daily.
